*This is a not a comprehensive list and students are encouraged to check with their parent/guardian associations such as workplace/unions/clubs/places of worship, etc. for other available awards as well as their own volunteer or student organizations and clubs.

Canadian Schulich Leader Scholarships are undergraduate scholarships for students intending to enroll in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas of study at a minimum of one of the 20 selected universities. All Canadian high schools and secondary schools (not including Quebec) may submit one Schulich Leader Nominee each. Cégeps (in Quebec) may select two nominees each. Schulich Leader Nominees are selected by their individual schools and must possess at least two of three criteria: 1. Outstanding community, business or entrepreneurial leadership 2. Pengrowth-NS Energy Scholarship Program/ University Students $2,500 (renewable over 4 years) $10,000
|
Scholarships valued at $10,000 ($2,500 renewable over four years), are awarded annually to students completing grade 12 at a Nova Scotia high school with the intent to pursue energy-related studies at university. Students applying for the university scholarship must be accepted into an accredited post-secondary institution for studies in business, science or engineering at the bachelor level. Students must be graduating from a Nova Scotia secondary school with a full academic course load in grade 12 and an average mark of 75 percent or B in their final year. Applicants must also demonstrate a record of community involvement, such as volunteer work, sports and other community based activities. Students applying must not be receiving additional scholarship support in excess of $2,500. |
